Tholulwazi Uzivikele is an NGO (Non Governmental Organisation) located in rural northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It was started in the mid 90’s, registered as an organisation in 2002, to address the overwhelming HIV epidemic affecting 1 in 8 people in its community and leaving over 3,000 orphans in its wake. Over the last few years Tholulwazi Uzivikele has grown in both capacity and experience and has become an organisation that strives to increasingly guide the community in its empowerment.
